Daily Journal, Courthouse News Service and KFI-AM Report on Claim Filed Against LADWP for Getty Fire
As reported by Daily Journal, Courthouse News Service and KFI-AM, McNicholas & McNicholas, LLP, along with Frantz Law Group and Bridgford Gleason Artinian, have filed a claim against the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) and the City of Los Angeles on behalf of the owner of a multimillion-dollar property that was destroyed in the Getty Fire earlier this year.
“This is just another reminder that power companies in California have antiquated systems because they failed the last 60 years to reinvest in their infrastructure,” said Partner Patrick McNicholas in his interview with Daily Journal. “These fires are completely preventable, and the LADWP, just like every other utility, is going to have to modernize their systems.”
